Youth Convention
Conducts youth convention on personality development once in 3-4 months at Vivekananda Hall, Ashrama Campus.
The program consists of,
1. Vedic Chanting
2. Guest lecture by Monks or prominent personalities
3. Movie Show on Swami Vivekananda and Other educations Videos
4. Book on Life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
5. Question and Answer sessions
6. Refreshments and Disperse.
Sunday Satsang
Once a month Satsang will be conducted (Spiritual Retreats). These Satsang will be conducted on a Sunday evening once a month.
Program Consist of,
1. Vedic Chanting
2. Sri Ramakrishna Astotaram Nama
3. Bhajans
4. Special Lecture by Monks and special invitees.
Usually around 25-30 will attend the lectures. Prasad will be distributed post Aarati to Guru Maharaj.
Mobile Van
Mobile Book Van was started in the year 2011. The activity of this van is to go to education institutions and prominent places to sell books on Ramakrishna - Vivekananda - Vedantic literature.
Bhakth Sammelan
Bhakth Sammelan will be conducted once in 3-4 months. On average around 90-100 devotees participate in the event.
Bhakth Sammelan will be conducted at Vivekananda Hall.

Public Functions
Monks of Kanpur Ashrama will take place in many events conducted by Local Educational and Non-Educational Institutions. The topics that will be covered are Spiritual Living, Time and stress management. Lectures of Holy Trio and more emphasis on Lives and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
On Invitation, Monks will travel to many other Ramakrishna Order centers to give lectures and special discourses on Spirituality and personality development.
Currently we conduct Weekly meditation class at Vivekananda Smiti, IIT, Kanpur.
Vivekananda Samiti IITK
Vivekananda Samiti is one of the oldest clubs under the Students’ Gymkhana, functioning for over 48 years, thus spreading the message of Swami Vivekananda among the campus residents.
In the present year our focus is to apply the concepts of Swami Vivekananda in our daily life through some practical activities for an overall IIT-K community as well as to take active part in nation building. In the past years, we have conducted a plethora of events like talks on Vendanta, ancient India, Sanskrit Language and permaculture, special lecture on self-belief exercise and Spoken Sanskrit Language, social Services like Health Camps around the campus. Weekly discussions on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings, Vendata classes, Sanskrit classes, meditation sessions and distribution of Vivekananda literature among youth were also conducted. Uniqueness of some events conducted this year were to motivate more students & to enhance their soft skills, leadership ability & overall personality for personality development as well as to help them in campus placements.
